Emerging from diverse disciplines, stylist and former Harper’s Bazaar market editor Vanissa Antonious shares her industry knowledge to form NEOUS’ ethos of minimalism and functionality. Looking to the design principles of modernist art school The Bauhaus for inspiration, NEOUS maintains function at the core of its design process and manifests a ‘less is more’ mentality in pared-back constructions and geometric silhouettes. NEOUS balances its emphasis on utility with its playful spirit; the label diverges from traditional heel varieties, utilizing sturdy wood or Perspex-fashioned cylindrical and spherical orb heels reminiscent of modernist sculpture.
